Getting Over It is definitely one of the best of its kind. The game’s moral lesson is pretty evident throughout the game: failure is not defined by your fall, but by your unwillingness to try again. The game breaks all expectations and leaves you with an honest experience. The absurdity of it makes the game engaging and its purposely unfair nature fuels players’ mad obsession. Careful though, because the joke that gets a few chuckles can leave a bitter aftertaste for the player.
